Team Timeline
The Cardinals compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the National Football Conference (NFC) West division. The team was founded as the Morgan Athletic Club in 1898 and are the oldest continuously run professional football team in the United States. The Cardinals play their home games at State Farm Stadium, which opened in 2006 and is in Glendale, Arizona. The team was established in Chicago in 1898 as an amateur football team and joined the NFL as a charter member on September 17, 1920. Along with the Chicago Bears, the club is one of two NFL charter member franchises still in operation since the league’s founding. The club then moved to St. Louis in 1960 and played in that city through 1987. Before the 1988 season, the team moved west to Tempe, Arizona, a college suburb east of Phoenix, and played their home games for the next 18 seasons at Sun Devil Stadium on the campus of Arizona State University. In 2006, the club moved to their current home field in Glendale, although the team’s executive offices and training facility remain in Tempe. The franchise has won two NFL championships, both while it was based in Chicago. The first occurred in1925, their second title, and the first to be won in a championship game, came in 1947, nearly two decades before the first Super Bowl. They returned to the title game to defend in 1948 but lost the rematch 7–0 in a snowstorm in Philadelphia. The franchise’s all-time win-loss record (including regular season and playoff games) at the conclusion of the 2019 season is 565–772–41 (558–763–41 in the regular season, 7–9 in the playoffs). The Cardinals have been to the playoffs ten times and have won seven playoff games, three of which were victories during their run in the 2008–09 NFL playoffs. During that season, they won the NFC Championship, and reached Super Bowl XLIII (losing 27–23 to the Pittsburgh Steelers). The team has also won five division titles (1974,1975, 2008, 2009 and 2015) since their 1947–48 NFL championship game appearances. The Cardinals are the only NFL team who have never lost a playoff game at home, with a 5–0 record: the 1947 NFL Championship Game, two postseason victories during the aforementioned 2008–09 NFL playoffs, one during the 2009–10playoffs, and one during the 2015–16 playoffs.

“For the black ‘alt’ uniform, something that really stood out about the cardinal (bird) is their work ethic. They are up before dawn, they are the first ones out. So, as that Arizona sun is rising you see the silhouette of the cardinal and it is the last thing you see as the sun is setting at night as well. Really that black colorway, bringing a new aspect to the uniform and really speaking to the work ethic of the cardinal – up before dawn and out once everyone else has gone home. “Cardinals themselves are fiercely territorial and they will protect the nest at all costs, We really wanted to amplify that red. Tough red is such a special thing for Cardinals football and we really wanted them to be able to use color as a weapon, and really overwhelm opponents on game day. The fans are part of that experience as an extension of the uniform and helping kind of cheer on the team towards victory. This is Cardinals territory, and it is very representative of Arizona. The key elements in the uniform are a large Arizona wordmark on the front, so we can really amplify that connect to the state of Arizona, as well as the innovation built in. You know, looking at the stadium, it is one of the most innovative places in the league to play, bringing in that sort of brushed-aluminum aesthetic from the stadium.”

On April 20, 2023, the Arizona Cardinals unlocked the next evolution of the Cardinals uniform with the introduction of the Arizona Cardinals Nike Vapor F.U.S.E. Three new uniforms were designed in collaboration with Nike in a process that spanned over three years. It began in late 2019 before being interrupted by COVID a short time later followed by a reset and recharged focus producing the end result of a world-class product in terms of both performance and aesthetics.

The Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders are the official NFL Cheerleading squad representing the Arizona Cardinals. The group performs at State Farm Stadium. The squad was founded in the summer of 1990 under the name Phoenix Cardinals Cheerleaders
Big Red
Big Red is the official mascot of the Arizona Cardinals, he “hatched" October 4th, 1998. He stands 6 foot 4 inches tall and has a wingspan of 7 feet. You will see him at every home game at State Farm Stadium.

Code of Conduct
The Arizona Cardinals are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all fans at State Farm Stadium, Sportsman’s Park and throughout our parking areas. Our staff will promptly intervene to support an environment free from unruly or disruptive behavior including the following:
*Season ticket members are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests and/or the persons occupying their seats. Guests who choose not to adhere to these provisions will be subject to ejection without refund, loss of ticket privileges for future games, and possible arrest and prosecution for violations.
• Failure to comply with stadium policies, including any existing health and safety protocols, or those that may be implemented by the CDC, state/local officials, or NFL during the season. • Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal in nature. • Intoxication or other signs of alcohol or substance impairment that result in irresponsible behavior. • Failing to follow instructions of law enforcement officers and/or all stadium team members. • Verbal or physical harassment of opposing team fans, players, officials, staff, or any guest. • Unreasonably obstructing the view of other patrons. To be courteous to all guests in attendance, we ask fans to stand and cheer when appropriate with the flow of the game. • Foul, abusive, offensive language, or obscene gestures, to include the use of such language or gestures concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, color, gender, religion, creed, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, or national origin; or to instigate, incite or encourage a confrontation or physical assault.
• Interference with the progress of the game (including throwing objects or trespassing onto the field or other restricted areas). • Failure to comply with any of the Parking or Tailgating Guidelines. • Sitting in a location other than one’s ticketed seat or failure to produce their ticket when requested by staff. • Obscene/indecent clothing, displays of affection or other behavior not appropriate in a public setting. • Smoking is permitted in designated smoking areas only- vaping and chewing tobacco are prohibited. The use of marijuana is illegal within State Farm Stadium and Sportsman’s Park per Arizona Revised Statute 36-2851.8a. • Entering the stadium with any item on the State Farm Stadium Prohibited Items List. • Scalping, improper resale of tickets, misuse of tickets/credentials, or illegal merchandise sales. •Unauthorized transmission of accounts or descriptions of the game or event, including play-by-play data.
Cashless
State Farm Stadium has transitioned to be a 100% cashless experience. Fans are encouraged to use debit and credit cards and reverse ATM’s are offered throughout the stadium to convert cash to universally accepted debit cards.
Digital Ticketing
Self-Scan Entry Season Ticket Members will now use their mobile device to access tickets to enter State Farm Stadium on game day. Have your tickets open for scanning and scan your ticket at one of our touchless kiosks.

Entering The Stadium
The Arizona Cardinals introduced digital ticketing in 2020. Season Ticket Members can now use their mobile device to access tickets to enter State Farm Stadium on game day.
1. Download the Arizona Cardinals mobile app 2. Tap My Tickets 3. Sign into your SeatGeek account, with your email address and password (same as your online account)
4. Select the game 5. Have your digital ticket barcode ready to scan upon entering the stadium
Parking Guidelines
HOURS OF OPERATION: Sportsman’s Park carparks and other Cardinals parking areas open four (4) hours prior to kickoff and close one (1) hour after the conclusion of the game. Please follow the direction of law enforcement as vehicles cannot stage on or block the flow of traffic on city streets prior to the opening of carparks and lots. Vehicles are not permitted to park overnight prior to game day.
SPEED LOADING: Fans are asked to follow the direction of the parking team members to quickly park your vehicle.
PROHIBITED ITEMS AND ACTIVITIES: The following items and activities are not permitted: weapons of any kind, fireworks, unmanned aircraft systems (drones, etc.), glass containers, golf carts, Segways, skateboards, roller blades, bicycles, scooters, hover boards and other non-licensed motorized vehicles. Signage, posters, flags or displays that are identified by security personnel and deemed inappropriate, political in nature or offensive, are also prohibited.
COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY: The sale of goods or services, advertising or the display of commercial signage on vehicles is not permitted. Vehicles with exterior advertising can be stopped from entering even with a valid permit. Also, the placement of flyers or brochures on vehicles is prohibited.
SAFETY AND SECURITY: Sportsman’s Park and other Cardinals parking areas are patrolled by parking lot and security team members and law enforcement officers. Tampering or removing of any parking lot infrastructure is strictly prohibited.
* All vehicles parking on site must have a ticket to the game. Please have your QR Code ready to scan upon entry to your assigned parking lot. Day of event paid parking will be debit and credit card only. No cash accepted in parking lots. To encourage social distancing outside the facility, vehicles will be parked every other space. Please follow instructions from parking staff.
PARKING SPACES: A mobile parking pass is valid for one (1) parking space only. Trailers of any kind are not permitted. Parking spaces are available on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved or saved. Groups that wish to park together must arrive at the same time.
OVERSIZED VEHICLES: The only oversized parking area is Lot F which opens 4 hours prior to kickoff. Each oversized vehicle must have a valid “Lot F Oversized Vehicle” mobile parking pass for access and is valid for one (1) parking space and one (1) vehicle only. Maximum parking space length is 45 feet.
Tailgating Guidelines
HOURS OF ACTIVITY: Tailgating activities are permitted from the opening of all Cardinals parking areas (4 hours prior to game time) until kickoff only. Tailgating after the game has begun or post-game is not permitted.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES: Fans are limited to preparing/providing food and beverages for their family and friends only. Private catering companies or the sale of food or beverage items to other fans on Sportsman’s Park property or prior to gameday is not permitted.
UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS: Drones, radio-controlled model aircraft, etc. are prohibited. Possession or operation of such devices will result in immediate ejection from the area and law enforcement intervention.
AUDIO EQUIPMENT: Portable public address systems and DJs are not permitted and large portable radios, commercial speaker systems and sound systems inside vehicles cannot be used at excessive volume levels or play music not suitable for a public setting (i.e., profanity in lyrics) as determined by parking lot or security team members.
GENERATORS: Small portable electric generators (6500W or less) are allowed; however, electrical cords cannot be placed across the parking area drive aisles, any sidewalk or create a trip hazard for other fans. Cords of any kind cannot be plugged into existing electrical outlets of State Farm Stadium or the Sportsman’s Park infrastructure.
PROHIBITED ITEMS AND ACTIVITIES: Weapons of any kind, unmanned aircraft systems (drones, radio-controlled model aircraft, etc.), fireworks, glass containers, the sales of goods or services, advertising, or the display of commercial signage on tents are prohibited. Signage, posters, flags or displays that are identified by security personnel and deemed inappropriate, political in nature or offensive, are also prohibited.
WASTE: The Cardinals encourage all fans to reduce, reuse and recycle and dispose of all waste in appropriate waste and recycling containers located throughout all tailgating areas.
PARKING SPACES: Tailgating in the parking lots must be limited to the area directly in front of or behind the vehicle. Tents and tailgating equipment must not extend beyond the red painted fire lanes, along sidewalks and painted walkways, or other areas deemed by stadium team members as an obstruction. Tailgating in empty stalls is prohibited, even with an unused parking permit. The dimensions of an ADA Parking Stall are 10.9’ x 18’. The dimensions of a Standard Parking Stall are 8.5’ x 18’. Both spaces come with an additional 5’ at the end of the parking spot leading up to the red fire lane line.
ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION: Excessive or underage consumption of alcohol will not be tolerated. Drinking games or any other activity that is linked to competitive or binge drinking are not permitted. Games or activities determined by security team members to be unsafe, or which could cause harm to other fans will not be allowed.
GRILLS: Natural gas or propane grills are permitted; however, charcoal/pellet grills and oil fryers are not permitted.
TENTS: Fans are permitted to bring up to a 10’x10’ shade tent for use within Sportsman’s Park. Please only use above ground weights for your tents in both the carparks and grass areas and keep your tent within the red painted fire lane on the asphalt.
Game Zone
The Game Zone, located in the south end zone area inside State Farm Stadium, opens three hours and 15 minutes prior to kickoff. It’s home to the Arizona Cardinals pregame radioshows and Arizona Cardinals NFL Kickoff Show. Fans can also enjoy early games broadcasted via NFL Sunday Ticket,Cardinals Cheerleader appearances, interactive games, and a great backyard BBQ menu. This area is near the players walk way and there is a potential to see players pregame.
Heritage At Sportsman's Park
Heritage at Sportsman's Park
Heritage at Sportsman's Park is located on the southern edge of the Great Lawn. This new venue features a patio beer garden with a specially crafted menu and early NFL game viewing.
BetMGM Sportsbook
The BetMGM Sportsbook will combine the energy and viewing options of a state-of-the-art sportsbook with the amenities of a world-class sports bar. It will include a video wall to watch games, both indoor and outdoor dining options, event space, and enhanced gameday parking options. The sportsbook is set to open ahead of the 2022 NFL season and will allow fans to place wagers at traditional trading windows or utilize state-of-the-art, user-friendly betting kiosks.
Big Red Brew Haus
Open three hours and 15 minutes prior to kickoff, your ticket is your entry into our Brew Haus themed experience. The Big Red Brew Haus features great food, an assortment of beers for purchase, wooden farm style picnic table seating and great flatscreens to watch the early games, all in the comfort of air conditioning inside State Farm Stadium.
Great Lawn
The Great Lawn features an eight-acre expanse of grass that stretches over 1,000 feet and is designed for use by fans tailgating at games. During the season, the Great Lawn will host bands, vendors, as well as other pre-game entertainment to help you get the most out of your tailgating experience.
Flight Deck/Pre-Flight Party
The Flight Deck is your one stop pregame destination anchored by lounges to watch the early games, food trucks, appearances by Big Red and Cheer, a house band and so much more.
Places To Go On Game Day
Tailgating Activities: Tailgating activities can be defined as but not limited to, food preparation, music, watching television and sitting, standing and/or loitering in a tailgate area, and is prohibited after kickoff.
PARKING PERMITS: Arizona Cardinals Parking is fully digital. Fans can access their digital parking permit via the Cardinals Mobile App. Click the “My Tickets” button on the Cardinals Mobile Home Screen to sign in and view your parking location and permit. Please remember to have your phone fully charged, as your phone will hold your parking pass and game ticket. To expedite entry into our carparks, fans are strongly encouraged to have their digital parking pass open and ready to be scanned prior to approaching the stadium.

What do I do if I don't see a concession card in my mobile wallet?
A Cardinals Virtual Concession Card is a benefit intended for the Club Seat Member on file. A big reason for our transition to virtual concession cards was to minimize any lost or stolen cards, therefore virtual concession cards cannot be forwarded.
Can I forward my card to other accounts or friends?
Please be sure you are signed in using the email associated with your Arizona Cardinals SeatGeek account. If you are still not seeing your card after you have logged in with your SeatGeek associated email address please contact us premiumseating@cardinals.nfl.net.
Why is my Virtual Concession Card not showing up?
A Virtual Concession Card is a benefit that is offered for that specific season and any remaining balance will expire the last regular season home game of that season.
Will my balance on my card rollover?
Cardinals Virtual Concession Cards can only be used at Cardinals games at State Farm Stadium during the preseason and regular season only.
Can I use my virtual concession card at any event at State Farm Stadium?
Virtual concession cards are a benefit that is currently provided to Club Level Members who have this option included in their agreements.
How do I get a virtual concession card?
The benefits of the Virtual Concession Card are meant to be enjoyed during the preseason and regular season. Any balance will expire at the end of the regular season.
How long do I have to use the balance on my Virtual Concession Card?
With the latest technology and space requirements, going forward the Cardinals mobile app will only support Apple iPhone 7 and later and certain Android phones.
I cannot open the Cardinals App any longer, why is that?
The balance will not roll over from season to season. We want you to enjoy the benefits of the Virtual Concession Card in the season. Any balance will expire at the end of the regular season.
What happens if I don't use my Virtual Concession Card does the balance roll over?
Once you open the wallet you will sign in using your Cardinals SeatGeek Account - email and password.
How do I sign in to access the wallet?
You will find the Cardinals Mobile Wallet in the Cardinals Mobile App. Open the app, click on the more tab in the lower navigation bar and then click on Mobile Wallet button to open the wallet.

Open the Cardinals Mobile App and click the More tab in the navigation bar and click on Mobile Wallet. Loaded value can only be used at Cardinals preseason and regular season games and will expire at the end of the regular season so please use any value in your card.

No, once you forward an amount to someone you will not be able to get that amount back. Once you send an amount it is sent. Those who receive that amount are not able to forward that amount to anyone and must use the amount.
